Whitney Houston: No Reunion w/ Bobby Brown

Rumors have been circulating that there will be a Bobby Brown/Whitney Houston reunion. However, Whitney denies these rumors. Her camp states:

Acting on behalf of Houston, the singer's publicist Nancy Seltzer calls speculation that the exes are getting back together "a complete fabrication."

According to Eurweb.com: Seltzer pinpoints the rumors to a report in Wednesday's Chicago Sun-Times by columnist Bill Zwecker that said Houston and Brown had been spotted out and about in Georgia looking romantic:

The official word from Camp Houston sticks to the old line about the divorced couple remaining separate, 'but good friends whose primary interest is the well-being of their daughter.' Yet, several Georgia sightings of Houston and Brown in recent days -- clearly looking very romantic while dining together -- seem to boost the reliability of what I'm hearing. I'm also hearing that the divorced couple's daughter Bobbi Kristina is eager for her parents to remarry.

Hopefully, Whitney will focus on her music!!!

Mya's "Paradise"

Singer, Mya, is back on the scene with her latest single, "Paradise". Mya's CD, "Sugar & Spice", is set to be released December 3rd, Japan-wide!! Glad to see her back!!!

Usher's New Baby

Usher revealed some details about him & wife, Tameka's, new bundle of joy. The couple is expecting their 2nd boy on December 15th. No word on the baby's name yet. Congrats to them!!!

Malia & Sasha Obama's School is......

Michelle & Barack Obama announced last week that Malia & Sasha will attend the private Sidwell Friends School. This is the same school that Chelsea Clinton went to.

Other notable members of the Quaker school's student body: the grandchildren of Vice President Elect Joe Biden. That was a big factor in the decision, because Malia is friends with one of the grandchildren, the Washington Post says, citing "sources familiar with the decision."

The Obamas are definitely making moves to get accustomed to the White House & DC!

KeKe Palmer News

KeKe Palmer, one of the young Hollywooders out there, is making her mark on Nickelodeon. Her show, "True Jackson, VP", aired as the "channel's largest live-action series premiere audience ever for kids 6-11 (2 million), tweens 9-14 (2 million) and total viewers (4.8 million)."

You may remember KeKe from Tyler Perry's "Family Reunion" movie and the movies "Longshots" & "Akeelah & the Bee". Keep doing you, KeKe!! Congrats.

Lawsuit Against Tyler Perry

A lawsuit was filed in May 2007 by Donna West against Tyler Perry. West claims that Perry copied her story for his film, "Diary of a Mad Black Woman". Her original story was entitled "Fantasy of a Black Woman", which was written in 1990.

Well now things are coming to pass as the court case is set to begin December 3rd in Marshall, TX. The lawsuit names Perry individually, his company Tyler Perry Studios, and Lionsgate Entertainment, according to Marshall's KSLA News 12.

West reports that she copyrighted her story in March 2006, although "Diary" came out in February 2005. Perry's lawyers claim West has no legal ground because she did not register her work until after the alleged infringement.

West is seeking damages plus profits made by Perry in the movie. KSLA News 12 reported that Perry was in Marshall Tuesday for jury selection in the trial.

We'll have to see how this one plays out.

TLC's Chilli Has New Reality Show in the Works

Word out there says that Chilli, of TLC, has a new reality show in the works. Recently, there has been a casting call for “Atlanta’s hottest men to compete for a chance at romancing Chilli.” Yes, the show will be taped in the ATL. The show is supposed to air on VH1. No air date has been released yet.

I guess when all else fails, do a reality show. Everyone else is!!!

Keyshia Cole's reality show, "The Way It Is", begins tonight @ 10p (Eastern) on BET. Also, in the works for the songstress is the December 10th release of her third album, "A Different Me".

“The first two albums were more … painful,” she says. “It’s a different me this time, a young woman who’s still growing and finding myself, exploring life through different routes musically and in other areas. I wrote more about other people’s situations than my own. I’m moving forward,” she tells Billboard in an exclusive interview.

“A Different Me” features Cole collaborating with Polow Da Don, the Runners, Neffu, Kwame, Orthodox & Ransom and the Trackmasters. Tracks include the lead single “Playa Cardz Right,” featuring a posthumous Tupac Shakur, “Trust,” featuring real-life friend Monica, and the Polow Da Don-produced “Make Me Over.” Cole further hones her ballad skills on the track “You Complete Me” and flashes a sultry side on a cover of R. Kelly’s 1992 No. 1 R&B hit, “Honey Love.”

Obamas' Code Names Revealed

Various sources have released The Secret Service's Code Names for the new President-Elect, Barack Obama, and his family.

President Obama will be known as "Renegade". Michelle will be called "Renaissance." Malia Obama's name will be "Radiance," while little sister Sasha's will be "Rosebud."

This is just the beginning for the Obama's move to the White House!!

Jamie Foxx's "Intuition"

Jamie Foxx's next CD, "Intuition" is scheduled to hit stores on December 16, 2008. This will be Jamie's third CD; prior CD, "Unpredictable", sold 1.98 million copies in the U.S. (per Nielsen SoundScan).

"Intuition" will also include collaborations with Timbaland, Ne-Yo, Sean Garrett, Salaam Remi and Carlos McKinney, among others. Currently, Foxx's song, "Just Like Me", featuring T.I. is #48 on Billboard's R&B/Hip Hop chart.
