A group of kids from Philadelphia who said they experienced prejudice firsthand arrived in Orlando, Florida on Friday for an all-expense paid trip courtesy of actor Tyler Perry.
65 day campers were rejected from a Philadelphia-area swim club earlier this summer, allegedly because of their race.
Shortly after the incident, Perry said he would be treating those kids and their families to a trip to Disney.
"We're excited to be here," camp parent Darryl Bizzell said. "We can't wait to get on the rides, see the amusement park, Mickey and Minnie, can't wait."
When asked about the June 29 incident, camper Taleeah Allen-Wight said she was disappointed and upset, but that Perry 's gift was kind and gracious.
Philadelphia officials are investigating the discrimination allegation against the swimming club.

This is a wonderful and caring young man that is why I have seen every movie and play that comes to the St Louis area in Missouri.
What a way to show our young people we do (American) do care about them.
God Bless Tyler Perry
